Incentive Travel Exchange Enriches the Guest Experience with SITE Education
NEW YORK (Feb. 1, 2016) ─ Buyers and suppliers who plan to attend Questex Travel Group’s 11th Incentive Travel Exchange (ITE) event March 2-5 at The Delano Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay can look forward to numerous development opportunities, thanks to a robust educational program, dynamic keynote address and exciting networking activities.
Questex, in partnership with the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE), will offer an insightful education session, “SITE’s Business Case for Incentive Travel: The Link between Motivation and Incentives,” led by Phillip Eidsvold, a 15-year industry veteran who is account director at Aimia (formerly Carlson Marketing). At Aimia, Eidsvold works with his base of pharmaceutical and healthcare clients to implement and operate effective meeting and incentive travel programs that deliver measurable results. In addition, he serves on the Executive Committee of the SITE International Board of Directors where he focuses his efforts on global sponsorship and fundraising in his role as VP of Business Development.
This course will help attendees define the elements of motivation and behavioral change, identify opportunities for incentive travel to build employee/customer loyalty and engagement and apply qualification criteria for incentive travel programs to motivation drivers.
“This is an excellent opportunity for attendees to understand how incentive travel is a highly effective tool in driving specific behaviors that produce measurable business results for their company or client. And this is what SITE is all about- demonstrating how incentive travel truly delivers better business results and increases profitability,” said Eidsvold. “I’m looking forward to attending ITE and sharing this valuable information with such an influential group within our industry.”
Dan Clark, professional motivational speaker, author, and CEO of Clark Success Systems will be the keynote speaker and will show visitors how to unlock their utmost potential. He is on the International Board of Governors of Operation Smile and serves on the National Civic Leaders Board for the United States Air Force. Clark is a primary contributor to the “Chicken Soup for the Soul” series and an author of 21 books including “Puppies for Sale" which was made into a film starring Jack Lemmon.
Clark’s keynote will be incorporated as one of the new networking elements for the event. To sweeten the pot, all suppliers and buyers are invited to attend “Magic Reinvented Nightly” with Mat Franco. Fresh from his triumphant win on America's Got Talent, Franco will present an unparalleled production and innovative approach to magic-making that’s driven by his passion and imagination.
“This year represents a brand new opportunity for all our visitors attending ITE, with tons of added value networking activities and a fresh contingent of buyers,” said Kirk Lewis, Questex’s Meetings Group Director. “At ITE, the opportunities for networking and growing your incentive business are vast and offer a high return on investment.”
The event brings together prequalified, top-producing buyers and global suppliers of incentive travel for prearranged meetings, high-caliber networking and educational opportunities. Suppliers will include cruise lines, tour operators, destination management companies and sought-after incentive destinations across the globe, including hotels, resorts and spas.
ITE provides suppliers the opportunity to meet one-on-one with fully vetted, high-performing meeting and incentive travel buyers with preset meetings in the privacy of a luxury suite. Buyers represent key incentive purchasing sectors including corporate incentive buyers and incentive companies, both full-service and travel.
The hosted buyer program gives premium meeting and incentive travel buyers the opportunity to maximize their time during focused meetings with leading incentive travel suppliers and networking with industry colleagues.
